Apneet
Dental Hygienist
Apneet is originally from Northern India and arrived in the states in 1996.
She completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in 1996 during her time in India, and
her Associates Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene, in 2009 after arriving in the states,
at Northern Virginia Community College. She currently has her CPR, first aid, and x-ray certifications.
Also, she is fluent in English, but her first languages are Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
Since 2009 she is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Apneet keeps up with
the continuing education and is very keen on learning and implementing the latest patient care
philosophy and recommendations by various American healthcare associations. She volunteers at her
church on Sundays and in organizations such as “Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile,” to educate
families about oral health care.
Providing the best oral healthcare to patients is her passion! Apneet has been working with Dr.
Kaur since 2013 and shares the same philosophy as Dr. Kaur and believes in providing
a comfortable, caring dental home for her patients.
Watching movies, hiking, and spending time with family is what she enjoys the most in her spare time.
